Mindfulness Courses

The next 8-week MBSR course will begin in April 2026.

During each of the eight weeks a different topic is explored, along with teaching of the theories that underpin the course. A range of practices is introduced in the sessions, and a workbook and recordings are all provided to support your learning.

Regular home practice is important, so this is a necessary consideration to make before embarking on the course.

By practicing mindfulness, we learn how to manage our emotions and our reactions to stress more skilfully. We learn techniques to build-in a pause before we might react to situations and instead we can choose how to respond with more consideration.

To quote psychiatrist and Holocaust survivor, Viktor Frankl:

“Between stimulus and response there’s a space, in that space lies our power to choose our response, in our response lies our growth and our freedom.”

The course can be taken in a group or one a one to one basis.

In a group there is the benefit of learning from each other, however we offer one to one learning as this can be more flexible and can be delivered at a time that suits you.

One to one learning also suits those that are less comfortable in a group environment.

How much do the courses cost?

Group Courses Cost: from £265

Joining a group course enables us to share our experiences, discuss any challenges with practice we may find and can really help us to feel supported. We meet at the same time each week for eight weeks.

8 Week One to One Course Cost: £550

For some the idea of a group course is overwhelming or perhaps you might be too busy to commit to a regular day each week. With a one to one course we can work around your availability and run the sessions at a time and a place that is more convenient for you.

All costs include a comprehensive work book and the recordings needed for home practice.
